What is
the Plagiarism
·
It's not enough to know why plagiarism is taken so
seriously in the academic world or to know how to recognize it. You also need to
know how to avoid it.
·
The simplest cases of plagiarism to avoid are the
intentional ones: If you copy a paper from a classmate, buy a paper from the
Internet, copy whole passages from a book, article, or Web site without citing
the author, you are plagiarizing.
Citations
and documentation
APA:
(American Psychological Association) style is most commonly used to cite sources
within the social sciences. This resource, revised according to the 6th edition,
second printing of the APA manual, offers examples for the general format of APA
research papers, in-text citations, endnotes/footnotes, and the reference page.

Documentation,

citations are found in two places:

indirect quotation, or paraphrase,
is a restatement of a thought expressed by someone else that is written in your
